Casey Wayne

Lead Singer & Founder

Casey Wayne's  musical journey started at a very young age idolizing his Dad, who was a professional working musician. He grew up always loving the stage and being part of the big show. From a young age he idolized frontmen that always new how to entertain and excite a crowd like: Elvis, Freddy Mercury, Mick Jagger, Jimi Hendrix, Robert Plant, Jim Morrison, Axle Rose, David Lee Roth, Ozzy, Bruce Dickinson, Rob Halford, Ronnie James Dio, Phil Anselmo, and many others. At 11 years old he was gifted a beautiful vintage guitar and was forever sold on making it rock! Since then Casey has never been without a band. He spent his younger years screaming in heavy metal bands. In his late 20s he decided it was time to start making some money and entered the cover band circuit. He spent a number of years playing in different types of cover and tribute bands, played countless private parties, and a bunch of weddings.

He decided around 2015 that it was time to pursue his love for country music and started a new band. His determination and professional work ethic skyrocketed his country band into being one of NY's top country bands for an prolonged number of years. Casey has played more concerts and venues than he could even keep track of, and actually sang on an Opry stage in 2018. Casey discovered his love for Luke Bryan's music many years ago, and every time his country band played one of his songs, he always enjoyed how the crowd would respond. After hearing the song Roller Coaster for the first time, he knew exactly what direction he wanted to go in. As the founding member of Crash My Party, Casey personally handpicked every musician for this band and couldn't me more happy with the result. Come sing and dance with your friend Casey Wayne and the party crashers at the next Crash My Party show!

Joe Sanfilippo

Joe is a long-time musician playing since he was 8 years old. He started

off playing Sax and dropped that for the love of guitar. He then started his first band in 6 th grade playing The Beatles and Pop charts songs at the time and then got heavily influenced by aggressive “Electric Blues” studying players

such as Albert King, Albert Collins, Eric Clapton, and Johnny Winter,

He joined “Vessel”, a popular Long Island rock band performing in the

New York tristate area six nights a week. Vessel was voted the eleventh most popular band in the “Good Times Magazine”. He has played with many bands since then and has done his own original music in the studio for himself as well as other musicians.

Joe is so glad to be playing with “Crash My Party” the ultimate Luke Bryan

Mike Skeedle

Rhythm Guitar/Banjo/Acoustic/Backing Vocals

Write a bio for each team member. Make it short and informative to keep your visitors engaged.

Mike Skeedle has played almost 10,000 live shows since his first paid gig at age 16. Is music is in his blood? Yes. “I was born into a musical family. My father was a folk musician whose band toured with many national acts in the 60s and 70s. Raised on music from The Kingston Trio, and Peter Paul and Mary, I learned at a young age how important vocal harmony contributes to making a good song great, and was singing three part harmony by the age of three. I was classically trained on piano at a young age by the same teacher who taught my mother 25 years earlier, and played saxophone for six years in school, but I eventually realized I wanted to be part of a band. My first and greatest influence was my father, who told me early on: ‘I don’t want to teach you how to play guitar, because I don’t want you to learn how to play the wrong way’- so I cut school most of sophomore year and stayed home and taught myself guitar… Right now my favorite Luke Bryan song to perform is “Play It Again”, because our bassist Carmine created a very dynamic arrangement that features three part harmony and encourages crowd participation. It’s a show stopper. I still get chills every time we play it. I live for the gig and I am honored to be part of this amazing group of musicians who will be crashing your party soon.”

Phil Gerbino

Piano/Keyboards/BackingVocals

Musically  trained in middle school and high school on alto sax Phil learned how to listen a band as a whole. He developed his ear and pitch control at a young age. Fooling around after band practice he became familiar with the piano. Phil started following the Grateful Dead and Frank Zappa’s careers and attended many concerts to find that both of these artists never played the same show twice. Their very spontaneous setlists and many tempo changes kept  the shows interesting. This fascinated Phil and he began following in their footsteps.

While attending college, he worked in the theatre where there was always a 9’ Grand Piano on stage. He fell in love with playing the Steinway in the empty theatre where acoustics were incredible. With no formal training Phil started playing in groups, jamming to rock songs and attempting to play fusion jazz/rock. He joined original rock groups and played such landmarks as CBGB’s, other NYC rock clubs as well as the branching out on the Long Island scene. Phil still plays live rock music, covering bands such as The Grateful Dead, Phish, New Mastersounds, Soulive, and enjoys his newest love, country music most notably Luke Bryan’s music in

the tribute band CMP-Crash My Party.

Carmine Gonzalez

Bass Guitar

Having a father that was in the music industry as a performer and learning at a very young age discipline and timing, Carmine had music in his DNA. Playing Sax in High School and Middle  School, he grew an appreciation for performing live and working with other musicians as a band unit. Starting his own record label and learning to produce and write added a deeper love for music. He worked on many different genres of music, discovering and developing very talented artists through the years.

Carmine always loved country and had a strong appreciation for Luke Bryan, so when the chance to audition for CMP came, he jumped at the chance. To date, CMP has already played for hundreds in a very short period of time and is creating a huge buzz in the Tribute Band Music Scene. He is exciting and very much looking forward to what the future brings for Crash My Party.

Sophie Epstein

Violin/Fiddle/Backing Vocals

No doubt watching Sophie Epstein perform, you can tell right away music comes naturally for her. As it should with having both a Mother and Father that are very talented in their own right. Sophie spent time very young backstage at shows, taking in the whole experience. She has been playing violin for nearly 19 years, with influences in Classical Music.

Ironically though, she also has a love for country music, naming Glen Campbell as one of her favorite Country Artists.

Sophie joined CMP in the Summer of 2024 and has been an incredible addition to the group. Her fiddle playing and backing vocals add to the authentic sounds of Luke Bryan and CMP could not be happier to share the stage with her.

Keith Ross

Drums/Backing Vocals

Keith Ross is a veteran of the tri-state circuit, playing in cover and tribute bands, most notably KISSNATION and Fleetwood Macked.  He has been playing drums since being wowed by both Keith Moon and Peter Criss.  He has many musical inspirations that have influenced his drumming.  Drummers like Keith Moon, Peter Criss, Cozy Powell, Ian Paice, Frankie Banali and Tommy Lee were big early influences on his style.  As his musical tastes became broader, names like Ziggy Modeliste, Terry Bozzio, Lenny White, Bill Bruford and many others shaped they way he hears and interprets music.

The first song that he ever heard of Luke Bryan was Country Girl.  He really enjoyed playing that song with the cover band he was in and when he heard there was an opening for the drummer chair in CRASH MY PARTY, he at once pursued it.  He was given a list of 6 songs to learn and the one that really hooked him, the one that made him know “This is my drum chair and nobody else’s” was KISS TOMORROW GOODBYE.  When he first heard the tune, there was something that at once resonated with him, that thing that takes over when music brings you to another plane of consciousness.  Oddly enough, the very first song he played with the band during his audition was this one.  It is his favorite LB song and the one he looks forward to playing during the set.
